Description
A romantic digital mountain with gold lighting for drama shines on a bed of ice and snow with billowing gray and pale yellow skies and clouds.. Or, perhaps someone has finally discovered Noah's Ark, now uplifted as the permafrost is melting. All imagined by Nancy Kane Chapman, who will not be physically touring this terrain.

Picasa has an special focal point feature so it's actually a digital effect. Thanks, Uma.

Great title and I laughed at the last line of your description. I still want to believe they will find that old ark. L/F

I love books about archeology...and indeed dug up some ancient pottery in Honduras (in my 20's) which I still have. I may photograph these.

I used a focal tool to shine just a little spotlight on the main event. I'm getting fancy with this tech stuff now.....

Nancy what a wonderful discovery. You should be paid some money for the discovery -Don't you think?fav
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
That's so fun to imagine. One has to make up titles for these painting and while doing that I sometimes "see" extra meanings. The snow looks pretty real too!

Marvellous work!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Stephanie. These ink and gouache paintings are always filled with surprises. I just thought this mountain looked a bit "suspicious" and then I imagined it as the long lost ark.
