All the best photographs I have taken are about sunlight. Surely there are objects captured, people portrayed, animals in action...but actually there is only light. That makes the beauty! That makes the colors sing. That makes me happy when I see how it shines over everything it touches.....this was our porch in Toluca Lake, California. This was the sun on that day.

It almost feels like the shadow on that right wall is a silhouette of the roses. This may be my all time favorite photograph.
