Description
My grandmother had African violets in all colors and in all seasons. They were in bloom in her front hallway. I have never been successful with these plants so this sweet plant was painted soon after it was purchased.

Out of my past.....when I was taking a class in acrylics and the teacher said.."Bring something to paint from home...." meaning, a photograph. I brought flowers and vase!!!! Lol!

They used to be a hearty plant....these new ones, even with careful watering just disappoint. But so pretty...those furry leaves, too.
