Thanks Paul for your visit and comment. I just love this historical park, once home to the mound builders and civilization of Cahokia Indians. There's a great museum with dioramas, a theater and of course the mounds which have staircases to the top. Marvelous!!!

This was one of the illustrations of the settlement...the straw huts mirror the shape of the temples and mounds....!!
