Description
Louise Nevelson (1899-1988) was the most original and perhaps the most famous American sculptor of the 20th century. Ft. Myers, Florida airport is honoring her with a wonderful exhibit of her work, Dawn's Forest. I was lucky enough to be traveling there this spring and could photograph this beautiful work.

Thank you, my buyer from Hilltown, Pennsylvania for purchasing a greeting card of "Dawn's Forest 1986". This photo opportunity was shortened by the time I had before boarding our plane and I was so pleased with my quick framing of the subject and the glorious sunlight which made the patterns even more beautiful. Louise Nevelson would have loved this gallery for her stunning work. I hope my buyer will love this card.

I'm reading her biography now but picked up one which does not include her later work...i.e. this one called "Forest Light". She did this two years before she died...at 98 years of age! I'll have to get another biography to see how in the world she accomplished this...!!!
