Love your latest works, Nancy. Wonderful interpretations of the energies of the subjects. This had glow and feeling of invitation into the space. Lovely light. I really enjoy how with a simple lines you indicate a feeling of architecture. lf

I'm so happy you like this series. Watercolor has always been dear to me...the transparency...even with gouache. And the light!

Love this, Nancy, the reds and oranges are like sparks against the wonderful dark richness. l/f

I love the rich colors and light and contrasts! Intriguing and gorgeous work Nancy! l/f!

I love being able to tone up and down, deepen the colors, create a palette with Picasa. Thanks, Meg for enjoying my experiments!

Really love this painting Nancy....I don't know what St.Louis is like but this could be a capture of Brisbane...warm,humid,lush but with hard edges. l/f and pinned.

It usually is much more humid than now...but it's on it's way. And my street is an oak forest...a sea of green. Dark green. I know my paintings come from this mixture and I'm spending lots of time at our botanical garden also.
