Oh...I don't know about "pins". I need to upgrade my tech skills! Thanks for coming to see my Sargent. My father was such a fly fisherman...even as a young boy...so I thought of him as I copied this beautiful painting.

You are great to feature this one, Jim in WHAT! It's of course a copy exercise. I wish I had the time back so that I could learn from every one of my favorite artists....by copying my favorite pictures. Lots to be learned!!

I'm going to try one of his "ladies" next.....and I do have my oil paints at the ready....and several books on the subject...so that's my "to do" for this year. I like Sargent's quick style!!

Well, not really. But he surely loved watercolor and I learned so much from copying him. I did this maybe fifteen years ago.

Thanks, Vivian. This is not new....but looking at it I realized that I learned a lot about water...and rocks and so many elements I paint now.
