I loved books when I was little...well, I've liked them when big too...but particularly all of the fairy tales and My Book House with great colored illustrations. I find myself back in that world often.

The colors look like the box of very basic crayons children use. Or story book colors. Like a fairy tale.

I just created this little shape (butterfly?) out of nowhere and I made it the center of the painting! Odd how things just happen.

I just don't know where I go when I get out my art toys. I think it's somewhere in childhood though. I spent a lot of time with the primary colors.
