Description
This is the third year that my beautiful amaryllis has gifted me with blooms. Only one bulb has made its entrance and I'm awaiting the lovely pink one which is being shy. Or is not coming to visit this year.

Nancy, I love your home. You take lovely photos. This is my Favorite flower. Do you think I could plant one in my house? I would be thrilled to be have it living in here with me. This has been an interesting travel vacathru your interesting rooms. Hugs,Friend Marsha FV
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Dear Marsha, these amaryllis bulbs came in a wooden box and were a gift. I've seen the bulbs sold everywhere, so do get two, a box some dirt and instructions are on the box. I keep mine inside and it's not much care at all.

F/L This beauty if a faithful friend, isn't it! I remember it and it's just as lovely (maybe even more so) as before!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I just caught sight of one of last year's photos...(oh, I took so many) and if the second bulb doesn't bloom....I'll just post a new one from that batch. They both deserve to be enjoyed and the other one is red and white!!!! Not pink as I remembered it in my description.

Nancy, what a glorious image this is! I love the composition so much as well as the colors and perspective! What a gorgeous and artistic photo! l/f
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Elizabeth. I love photography in a special way. I really didn't have time or patience to paint while raising my girl and boy, so the camera was my art for years.

I can't believe that they keep coming back each year. It's marvelous to see them grow so quickly.
