Description
This is the prettiest and brightest I have seen this Red Japanese Maple. We had a very mild
winter and it has really changed the condition of our trees.

Marvelous colors of this beauty, so brilliantly captured,Nancy !!!!! (F/L)
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I have two Japanese maples, one red and one green. This one of course is the red and it's not doing well this year. I'll have to seek a tree doctor to see what I can do.

Nancy,We must have different Japanese Maples, cause I don't have those little spikkets on my tree, unless they come out a certain time of the year. Any watering tips? Friend Second look at your great tree.!!!! FV

F/L This is positively GORGEOUS! The red glows - how beautiful it must look up close and personal:>)
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I'm all over this tree...the spigot to the sprinkler located just at its base, the curling of the hoses etc. It's now not as fiery but new colors....more yellows on the top of the wings.

Nancy, My Japanese Maple is more burgundy than your photo. I don't know what mine is supposed to look like. Our weather was different too.FV
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Mine is burgundy too....until....the afternoon sun hits it. I was right in there up close with my macro and I may have used a bit of Picasa too on the colors. I try for poetry even in my photos.

It's gorgeous! I love the contrast between the reds and the highlighted trees in the background. Beautifully captured! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
The sun was just right and I just hoped this effect would be recorded. It was truly magical!
