Description
I call them my house trees now, each season a sweet blessing for us. I love autumn in the front yard best, two Japanese maples...a red and a green, a giant old oak and some tiny conifers. The back yard holds the aging, might as well say sadly ancient, silver maples, home to the bird feeder and patio shade. The star of the yard though is the Japanese dogwood...duly pictured in FAA and prone to surprises. Rounding out the menu, there's a redbud, several honey suckle trees and six hydrangea trees. What a feast of trees...plenty you'd think until you notice all of the giants in every yard in sight. We live in a forest! I'm the forest photographer!

Proof that the scene need not be expansive to capture the eye. Well seen. Nancy. - Mike (V)

Please post more beautiful pictures of your back yard garden too,Nancy....
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Dear Latha. I'd have to go back to my spring photos...full of hydrangeas, lilacs, violets, dogwood...etc. I do have many in my FAA gallery under Flower Photography.

I love sunlight in my photos and I have great love for this smallish red Japanese Maple which is just outside of our living room. So happy you enjoy it too!
