Description
Spring in St. Louis is finally here...a little late with shifting cold and even some snow yesterday. The trees didn't wait for the all clear, all nice. Every street is filled with flowering trees, ornamental pear trees especially noted. Magnolias in all variety and color are just beginning to wilt and drop their petals. Red bud is everywhere! Not to mention but will mention all of the beautiful baby leaves, my very favorite spring event! Ah, green!!

I painted so many magnolia watercolors...but none were yellow. This is a fav flower for me and I'm happy to add this variety to my gallery.
