This is such a wild and quirky painting. So happy you liked it. ...And I have to really pick the "cute" photos.....in the right lighting I can still look sorta young.

Thanks so very much, Chanda for this feature in Contemporary Florals. I do love to invent flowers and for some reason have made them black and even deep brown....not something you'd see in the everyday garden of annuals and perennials...!

Nancy, I can hear the song of colours and Autumn in your “ Rhapsody”! Stunning!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Laurel. I actually painted this some months ago but saved it for just this season. The leaves are at their height of color and are certainly a match for this vibrancy!

I'm delighted to have this floral painting featured in Glimpses of Autumn. Outside my windows these colors are just receiving the morning sunlight. So radiant! Autumn is splendid!

Wonderfully vibrant, love it! l/f
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It was so "loud" I changed it to green and yellow and posted that....and only now am showing what actually occurred when I put brush to paint. Thanks, Chris.

I did this earlier in the year....this is the best season for these rich and wild colors!
