Description
Last year I collaborated with "Nature's Garden", by Neltje Blanchan by painting over one of the many colored flower photographs in acrylic over acetate. That work was entilted "Bees". Now I'm back again to this wonderful book and am now providing a paper vase made from a torn abstract gouache painting. The book contains over 500 wild flowers and is dedicated to...."our wild flowers and their insect visitors". It's brilliant and I'll share more of this magic.

Sometimes I stumble into a book so rare and good that I know that I'll have to find a way to share its beauty. I'll be looking for more combinations for this one!

Nancy, I love this, has such a great modern look and feel, I can see it hanging in a waiting room or in someone's hallway, cheerful, such a fave !
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It's so strange to merge my abstract art with beautiful wild flowers photographed in 1904! And have it seem modern...Thanks so my Elfriede!
Judith Kunzle

Many thanks, Laura. I take credit for only the vase, the upper photograph is by A. R. Dugmore, a portrait of Sea or Marsh Pink. still looking so beautiful and from 1904.

This is gorgeous Nancy! I love it! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
In a mixed media class we were instructed to hand tear a painting we didn't like and then see what the fragments offered. I have maybe twenty more pieces...so this could be a series....!! I'm smiling at the thought.
