It's funny: I thought at first glance that this was a scene of the side of a hill in the woods, with some blooming shrubs in the foreground. What a surprise to discover that it was an abstract! These are wonderful textures, adding up to a great composition! l/f

Wouldn't we love spring to be here already! Guess I'm not too thrilled with the 8 degrees we're getting tomorrow. But really, I do love each season. So get ready for some really cold abstracts...lol.

I'm trying to embrace a more pastel feeling! I got stuck on payne gray and gold for so long and before that on hot pink and red. Odd how color coordinated our brains can become...!!!

So happy you like this one. I'm using other parts of this painting (from prints) and painting other works over this structure. It's been quite interesting. "Overhead" is one of these.
