I would love that, Nikki. Since I have no models or photos, only imagination and memory I think I go right to patterns on the paper. And balancing, a practice I learned from Chinese landscapes. So odd how we make our own rules.

I work small and quickly, all from imagination...but really memory of form because I have been around roses since childhood. My mother loved to grow this flower (and many more) and was also an artist, painting many roses in oil and pastel!
