CONGRATULATIONS, Nancy! You are the Featured Artist of the Week in the fine art group, Best of Minimalism in Painting! This is so beautiful and excellent, as is all of your work! v/f/feature!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I'm very honored to be the Featured Artist for the Week...and as a minimalist! It's rare that I can quality in this category....so busy with usually too much, too tight, too complicated. Thanks so much, Lenore. This will encourage me to strive for simplicity.

F/L What an AWESOME painting, Nancy! Before I read that it was an abstract of the Rockies, I thought it was an abstract of a city skyline reflected in water - maybe showing pollution of water and air. No matter what anyone may suppose, the work is stunning!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Such a response. I feel very unsure of these quick impressions I post. And they really can mean anything you see! Thanks so much, Carol!!!

ANA MARIA EDULESCU
Marvelously expressive abstraction, Nancy. Makes me think to some majestic mountains reflected on a sill lake's water. Fantastic work ! f,l
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Ana. I grew up in West Virginia in a small mountain town. As children we loved hiking and in the winter sled riding. I just don't think I have outgrown my interest and love of mountains and they just keep appearing in my art. Thanks for the nice comment!

Very cool, Nancy...I thought the thumbnail was a photo of reflections...love this!...fav/v7
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
This one still looks pretty chilly, but the good news is that I found the first tiny daffodil shoots emerging yesterday. Getting ready for flowers and lots of green really soon!
