Several years ago I tried acrylic painting with the edge of a credit card. Later I saw Gerhard Richter's giant squeege.. and voila...I understood! It certainly led me to a new style of abstraction.

I just had a peep again at the Pacific because we just returned from a trip to LA last month. I'll have to imagine another ocean painting soon.

We lived in the LA area for nearly 20 years. The Workhouse (now nonexistent) had a write up in the NYT (and there's a photo of me) in the Culture and Leisure section in 1980. Surely my fifteen seconds of fame!! My daughter lives there now so we do visit often and I always notice the changes. I liked it better then. Thanks for the wonderful comment on my painting!!
