So much to see and enjoy in your abstracts! Wonderful color composition an textures!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Several years ago I tried acrylic painting with the edge of a credit card. Later I saw Gerhard Richter's giant squeege.. and voila...I understood! It certainly led me to a new style of abstraction.

Wonderful abstract , Nancy ! Great colors and movement .l/f
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I just had a peep again at the Pacific because we just returned from a trip to LA last month. I'll have to imagine another ocean painting soon.

Such an exciting work Nancy! Can feel the CA surf with sailboats, foam and great movement! Delightful work! FL

Nncy --this is terrific! I keep looking deeper and deeper into this painting. The color relationships are wonderful and WELL PLACED! BTW-- I see you exhibited in North Hollywood. Years ago, I lived in West Hollywood (Doheny and Sunset) -- small world.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
We lived in the LA area for nearly 20 years. The Workhouse (now nonexistent) had a write up in the NYT (and there's a photo of me) in the Culture and Leisure section in 1980. Surely my fifteen seconds of fame!! My daughter lives there now so we do visit often and I always notice the changes. I liked it better then. Thanks for the wonderful comment on my painting!!
Nikki Dalton
Very dynamic expressive abstract Nancy! Love the sweeps of golden colour against the September blue!~ FL
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Had just returned from a September trip to LA and my daughter and I spend a day in Santa Monica with cliff view of the Pacific. Hope all of this power found it's way into this art.
