Description
Taking a line out for a walk! Or in this case, for a scamper. I enjoyed playing in circles with circles, keeping the tempo staccato. A "Free Style" by Nancy Kane Chapman.

Love so much about this one... especially the free spirit along with the complicities that driven by the shapes, lines, dots among the black, gray and white... THE most powerful colors of my favored... I bet you had fun while this piece was masterfully producted :) v/f/l
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It is fun! In order to keep the circles and arcs ...real...the pen has to be moving at a pace....no time for thinking too much....just rhythms....so I'm certain I had a very nice piano sonata playing in the background. The coloring....that was on Paint, Windows 7 and I could go back repaint if I want to. I did try one in blue.

Oh, Nancy. Your work is always so freaking inspiring. Are you sure you wouldn't want to move to Quebec Canada and be my next door neighbor? I would gladly serve you tea or coffee and sit and watch you create. Love, love and more love.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I've visited Quebec several times....so majestic with that big St. Lawrence River. What a nice comment, Maggie. Thanks so much. I love your work and blog!

This is done with so much freedom, yet there is a wonderful sense of order here. Lovely work!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Bach or Scarlatti piano music is really a great muse for this pen and ink play! Thanks so much, Uma.

This is wonderful! I love the dots Nancy! They add a whole new dimension to this already fascinating piece! I love it! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I love to play Bach Partitas when I do this calligraphy. The dots seem like notes.
