Description
A form of travel, this visionary landscape is very fun to create and I hope fun to look at. All of the places I'll never get to (and I have traveled a lot) could meet up in one of these imaginary concoctions. This seemed appropriate for New Year's Eve 2020, a year of no travel, and pandemic fears. Sending my best wishes for 2021! Happy New Year!

Such masterful piece dear Nancy, absolutely love it, love the vision and expression here ! L/F
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I don't know when I discovered the Irfan program and realized that I could "add" to my abstract landscapes, using my own splintered paints to jigsaw new structures and paint into a painting. It's quite fun and I love being in that creative moment! Thanks so much Fei for this encouragement and praise!

Oh, your wonderful landscapes, Nancy. With the architectural impressions here and there it feels like an ancient and secret/sacred place with another pharaoh's grave waiting to be discovered. LF
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
This is perhaps every expedition I'd love to join! I do watch all of those great PBS specials and recent movies like "The Dig" (wonderful Anglo Saxon mound) and years ago I did go to Greece and in those days one could walk around The Parthenon ...love archaeology !! Thanks for your wonderful comment, I'ina.

An awesome and powerful work, Nancy! FL
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Lynda. I wonder where all of these mountains come from....maybe some from the beautiful photography you share...and I enjoy so much! I paint from imagination, but some of the mountains seem real...!!!
