Description
A preliminary sketch for a work on Paint shows the free line work of the drawing. The paint portion fills in only the spaces which are completely "sealed"....otherwise the entire picture changes to the new color added. It's a recipe for instant surprises!

And this one had about three or four stages...adding more color...saving and adding....each so different.

Oh, Nancy, this is fabulous and it looks like you have definitely found the child in you and are creating wonderful, interesting, creative work. Keep it up! :-) Maggie
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Second childhood is delightful! I'm finally able to trust my silly line drawings and actually make them into art....or so I like the think!

I love the freedom and flow. Wonderful lines and shapes and palette! Beautifully done! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I think all of the geometry pen and ink work I did for years (maybe 25 years) have prepared me for this fun activity. I'll see where it goes.

Your joyous surprises in this series are spectacular, and I love your clever title, too. Kudos....fv...VIVA
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Vivian. This is certainly a tricky procedure. I've lost some really good ones....they more or less dissolve if you have unconnected lines. But oh, it suits me...even the meltdowns!
