Description
I've seen two of these wooden horses in antique stores and I always seem to want to bring them home in my camera. This one is so beautiful. It is surrounded by other wonderful objects in great matching colors. The painting above the horse is also quite the winner.

So cool.

I've always loved horses. Fortunately my daughter did too so I got to be a "barn mother" ...for years....in Los Angeles of all places.

This wooden horse was such a beauty. I've never seen one before....but later in the summer I met two more in antique shops in NYC. Thanks so very much for this feature!

I love this! Antique shops and reflections through the glass can make some great photos! v/f and I want the horse!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
That's just what I said when I saw it. So I got it...for all of us to enjoy!

Great find, lovely post work, l/f
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, RC. I'll have to find wooden horse #2 and post it. That one was in a New York antique shop!

F/L You've brought us a wonderful array of exquisite objects and we don't even have to make room to display them! I'm enjoying this picture for al the lovely thing - and, yes, the painting is marvelous! Where would you put a full-size wooden horse? LOL
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Great observation! We are both "collectors" and our house is ....full! Too bad, that horse is beautiful! We may need to get a place with a barn.

I was so charmed by this lovely wooden horse. And you are right, the painting in the background is a total winner! Mixed media indeed. Thanks so much, Dave!
