Nancy,Love this painting. If I had a wall space I would put this on it. It really grabs me and feels so real. Love it. Dear friend,Marsha xx FL

I love to invent these things...and I feel that they are fun to enjoy...even little. I can't see this one holding its own on a wall. Thanks, though.

I love the simplicity and brush strokes . Every artwork of yours has this oriental touch which I love ! Happy New year !
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Aline. My very best art instruction came from Frank Chiu, a very prominent brush painter from Taiwan. He taught art by having us copy his work, and then other work...and even calligraphy. I just love these techniques.

Many thanks Lenore for choosing my tree to be in Paintings - Best of Minimalism. It's always so wonderful to have this extra notice!
