I don't know what it is about these drawings Nancy that is so appealing but I simple adore them. Maybe it is the natural human preference for flowing curves or the "feel" of music. Matters not - I love it! F/L T G
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thank you so much Lianne. I have this one on the mantle in the living room to remind me to revisit this mood. I played piano duets when I was little and sometimes I feel like this art form is like that....I love painting to music!

F/L I love the title, Nancy, and to me it looks like music:>) This really is wonderful to study - all those wonderful shapes filled with motion and, dare I say, happiness. That's how it makes me feel:>)
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Scarlatti, Piano Sonata in D Minor...to be exact. But my husband thought Showtime would be a better title. I like drawing to music! And that music is filled with happiness. You are so intuitive.
Lianne Schneider
What a delightful abstract Nancy - love all the little details that tell the story. This is just brilliant. F/L
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Lianne. I'm delighted with this piece also. I was listening to Scarlatti and it just materialized. There will be more...hope you like them too!
