This was so much fun. A very large piece of thick brown paper and a line drawing and then layers of colors followed by the cartoon. And then photography.

I always love your enthusiasm, Sherri! It makes me want to get right back to the drawing board!!! I've had my daughter here all week and we spent a lot of it playing dress up in my "retro" clothing!!! Such fun!

I spent several years trying to be a cartoonist....copying New Yorker styles etc. I never "made it" but the attempt shows up in my work. Thanks...I love the "small-town circus" image!!!
