I'm so enjoying gouache in conjunction with macro photography and Picasa effects. I always wanted to learn photoshop but I think I'll stop right here and continue to explore this method!!

This is a macro of a larger piece. When I found this diagonal there was an ah ha moment before I clicked the shutter.

I've often thought I would have loved being a geologist. My uncle Delmar was one and when he visited from Washington D. C. it was always a mystery and as much fun as Nancy Drew to imagine his explorations.
