An acrylic painting with abstract clues to myths and angels, or a landscape of

Thanks so much, Stefano for this feature in 10 Plus. You provide a wonderful showcase for work which is several years old but one of the more favored pieces. Am delighted at the prospect of finding a new audience for this one!

Pretty wild even for me!! Once again a mystery. Did you know that my main field was English literature? Maybe I'm a story teller at heart!

How very beautiful - no doubt about the sense of the mythical here and the magic too. F/V

It's a strange one. That's what happens to me when I get the gold acrylic out....magic is not far away....

This has a geographical feel to it. The variation in the depth of field, soft edges against sharp, bright color against muted, adds a lot of interest to this fine work Nancy. Intriguing structure............great impact.......so compelling............FV!!!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thank you so much!! There are layers here, textural and thematic...and I was afraid it was quite frankly too complicated. Glad you found it intriguing!!! I start with aerial pov's and it progresses from there.

Nancy, I can see so much in this. The various shapes and colors are mysterious and appealing. As always, love your work. F/V
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I have played with contrast and with some of the computer enhancements and it does change not only the tone, but even the shape of things. Very creative to see what a piece can tell us...things we never planned!

Very emotional work of art,Nancy !!!! Great colors & composition !! (f/v)
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
It's so good to hear that you like this one, Latha. This is darker and more serious than most of my art. Thank you for your lovely comment!
