Description
Almost every Japanese and Chinese painting contains a pine tree because these trees were loved for their beauty and shape. I learned how to paint them, each spine a stroke. Now I've found this way to speak of their elegance with photography.

Great scene and processing! However safe filter is on, you may want to turn it off. :)

I don't understand the glitch...but all of the last four photos showed this "choice"....and I have corrected it. I'll have to watch carefully to see what's going wrong.

Thanks, Craig. I loved seeing what I could do with this photo to make it ...artful!

Thanks so very much, John for this feature. I've tried to make a design from these stately pines and added the green tones to give it distance from reality, to push it into art. Hope I succeeded. Am always grateful for your notice of my work.

Wonderful! Amazing how a small alteration in color changes the mood.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I'd like to learn photoshop so that I can really play the color game. This image would really be so nice with a lighter backdrop.....!!
