Thanks so much, Melly. I was looking through my FAA posts to see if I had still life paintings I could enter into a contest. And there it was!

Well, as my son said, "Mom, are you going to leave it all in the basement?" And that's when he told me about FAA. So happy you found it again.

This was done in a class I took and it was a timed exercise and when the time was over, she moved the objects to a new configuration....interesting idea for someone who teaches art....

An exercise in an art class I took.....one large sheet of heavy brown paper...four scenes, same objects...quite fun really!

I was taking a class in acrylics and the teacher had us quarter our paper and then the set up and she kept changing the objects. No time to sketch or erase, so go. I can't remember how many minutes she gave us, but it was very fun.
