Spectacular! Just LOVE it! A gorgeous calligraphy. LF!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
So nice to have your praise. There were years when all of my work was pen and ink...mostly black ink, many times a uni-ball vision needle, but also nib and straight pens. All very fun!

I love this. It reminds me of the fascinating shapes that occur on our frozen windows in winter. Fabulous!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Maggie for this comment. I enjoy these pen and ink compositions....each one having a mind of its own, one mark deciding what the next one has to be. And then it seems balanced and it's done!

Nancy, this is meditation in itself - for the one who is creating it as well as for the one looking at it. Stream of consciousness. Wonderful.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks you so very much, Uma for this lovely comment. I love to center myself with pen and ink. This is such a joyful exercise, so unplanned and unfolding....until it's completed.

I just love being in this space. Feeling my way, filling the gaps with excited lines. Arriving at a stable, peaceful resolution. Many thanks, Angela.

Very nice work, Nancy! I could look at this for hours... f/l
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I often thought one could use these for meditation. Certainly it clears my thoughts when I'm doing the ink work!

Super Nancy I absolutely love this!!!! Amazing work! FL
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much Nikki. I make these like a spider makes webs....without thinking of what I'm doing.

L/F I like this!!!!!!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Carol. I get a pattern and then it's a bit like knitting or crochet work (which I did so much of as a child).
