I began my love for art by watching my mother paint in oils and pastels. I must have caught the bug because I have enjoyed fifty years of drawing, painting and photography, urged on and instructed by professors, a botanist, a master of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, water colorists and lately, mixed media devotees. After a course in cubism in 1973 I began to explore pen and ink geometric art. Each stroke was unplanned but exact, the designs becoming more elaborate and more fun to execute. Wow! I can only guess at how you do these,and I would be wrong most probably! I love to view abstract art,though it is more difficult to put feelings into words to comment. The frosty glass looks almost like an egg or pebble.So surreal and beautiful floating in all those seashore textures ! v/f

Yes, another credit card painting. The paint can be put down on the surface, but I prefer to put it on the card and then with long sweeps of motion, let it be mixed on the painting. The sea glass is from my collection and I simply placed it on the surface and photographed it all in just the right light. Sea glass is very ethereal all by itself. Thank you for you kind comments!!!
