Many thanks, Jim for including "Winter Fantasy" in your features. I'm back to mountains, and this time of year..of course there will be snow. I'm always so appreciative of your support for my art.

Many thanks, Georgia. We have only had one really light snow....and so I have to imagine some in my art!

My husband and I are studying the life and paintings of Rockwell Kent. Snow covered mountains and glorious light...what a fantastic artist!! I didn't copy him, but surely that yellow glow is his!

We both love terrain: flat or horizontal, fields of it, meadows of it, cliffs and terraces....wrapped in a blanket of sky. Thanks so much, Lenore.

Just posted a photo of sunrise in the antarctic and it was a golden yellow....and that arrived long after I had painted what I thought was a fairly surreal scene. What fun for me!
