Description
Painting quickly with a loaded brush produces some amazing effects, in this case those great stripes. I decided to make this one green and of course Picasa offers so many choices. This looked like spring which I'm patiently waiting for.....could this be tulips on their final days in the vase?

It only occurred to me as my tulips lost petal after petal that this is indeed what could be depicted here. I actually just had so much fun with impasto!
