Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Genevieve. I'm so honored to be in your gallery. I'm really one of those "tree" people, caring for so many around my home and living in an area of ancient, tall and interesting specimens.

This is soooo gorgeous, Nancy!! I love the way the branches just seem to flow so freely and beautifully!!! :)))vf
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Laurie. I have a notebook just for trees. I've tried them in so many styles....I'll post some more soon.

SO elegant! This just makes me sigh with a peaceful calmness! This is just lovely! Your work is so varied, but every piece is so well done!!....fv
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
There were so many years I just did ink and paper. One or two a day....while watching television. Like knitting only more exciting. No mistakes ....no presketch. I've had this "habit" on and off since I taught myself in 1973. I have them all out now trying to color them with a paint program from Windows. Silly me.

The more I look at this, the more I love, love it! Beautiful minimalism with lots of mood!! v/f!!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
These were very meditative.....and I loved being in the flow of the tree.

I love trees. Surely they must have arrived on our planet before we did. This image is such a symbol of grace. Gorgeous. Love the flow and feeling of life. lf
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
My first tree love was a graceful willow in my childhood back yard. We climbed to the top...and to the end of all of her branches....for years.

Spring: new beginnings, well described, and oh yes, I do see this as the start of more, through your imagination..........elegant simplicity, fv.....VIVA
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
I am in charge of a 100 year older black oak which graces our front lawn. We've been friends now for over ten years...it's already budding.....!
