Having read Conrad Richter's trilogy (The Trees, The Fields, The Town) I have dreamed of illustrating my continuing thoughts on this marvelous work. A first attempt by Nancy Kane Chapman, of American pioneer heritage, a lover of history and person with an active imagination.
