Description
I tried this steep hillside in many colors and this one was my favorite. The lavender and orange create such beautiful shadows for the snow. Picasa is a wonderful tool for artists. No need to repaint, simply and quickly try on different shades and tones. It really changes the mood!

Love the feeling in this image of Nature reaching out, of growth, the strength of plants as they reach up towards light. lf

Thanks, I'ina. I love building my own landscapes and mountains. I copied mountains when I studied Chinese brush painting and then....I just kept on "hiking"!

Thanks so very much, Lenore for featuring my snowy slope in Old Masters - Photography and Digital Art. It's wonderful to have this extra showcase for my art.

Thanks so very much, John for including "The Incline" in your features. I always love being a part of "Images That Excite You"...and I'm honored to be in the good company of artists who also belong to your fine group!

Many thanks, Meg. I did ski a bit in college and even broke my leg on the slopes so I have personal knowledge of mountains with snow!!!
