One look and the world slows down...this is a road for ambling. Love it! F

This beautiful country road led to a friend's organic flower farm with fields of Queen Anne's Lace too. What memories!!

Many thanks, Lyric for this feature of The Country road in Bedroom Art Gallery. I'm so pleased to see this one in your showcase!

this piece is so important Nancy -- here's why. We all remember our childhoods, aimlessly walking down a country road (no spectacular sights to distract us, "just a dusty country road") -- bored a bit by our youth; kicking stones -- never realizing that we were storing up a memory to sough our souls as life chipped away at us -- a terrific feel here. L/F

Thanks, Bill. You are so right...I grew up in a family of five (two boys, three girls) and we were free to hike in all of the small mountains just blocks from our town. At home we spent a lot of time climbing trees...like the willow in our back yard where my brother had built tree houses. What a safe and beautiful time we had...back when.

Such an inviting scene, love the light! LF

This one lane dirt/rock road certainly made this an adventure.

I love this path and the light and shadow! Gorgeous shot! l/f!

Imagine this was several miles and if you met another car (which we didn't) you'd have to back up...all the way!
