Description
I've always been fascinated by Rembrandt...so many wonderful portraits (self portraits, too) and many of them in the same earth tones I love so very much. Doing just a little research, he used hand ground colors of what would be now: yellow ocher, burnt sienna, burnt umber, white, black and orange red ....cadmium red deep. This little paper sculpture seems to inhabit this color world. A tribute by Nancy Kane Chapman.

This is so creative, Nancy. The colors are so so Rembrandt like.Love this!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks, Uma. I'm going to return to these painted tissue sculptures soon. I sometimes use my art work as background too...so it's a very nice showcase for my art. And so fun, too.

This is amazing, I see a lady with her head resting on her knees wearing a long flowing skirt, her hair is dark and she has an Oriental appearance. Love looking at this to see what appears next, LF
