Description
My street is particularly beautiful, being an uphill street without sidewalks and having something else I love...a curve. And then there are the oaks, so old and wonderful, so gorgeous especially when you view them leafless in winter. Our house is at the top and not yet in view. Our oak which could compete with these, is still hidden behind the curve. These trees are possibly 100 years old. And so beautiful!

The town I grew up in was in New Jersey just outside of NYC. There were 34,000 people crammed into three square miles. But each street was lined with maples fatter than four of me put together. So my love of trees has never diminished and this is particularly wonderful to me. L/F

I have always loved trees....our little town had canopied streets....but when I go back I notice that as they cut them down, there was no rule for replacement. So the beauty is ...gone!
