Description
Flowers don't even have to be real to pull at my senses. The first few strokes of a petal and I'm off to more and I'm never afraid to edit them with banks of white clouds which might appear, or big white petals which frame the story. I like it to be alive and interesting ..by Nancy Kane Chapman.

Many thanks, Mary. I haven't created my 2019 flowers yet. ....I will, that's for sure. Thanks for the encouragement.

How lovely to be featured in Contemporary Flowers! I have a gallery for my abstract flowers...calling them "imaginary".....contemporary is a good name too! Thanks so much!!

Thanks so much, Elizabeth. I'm becoming such a free spirit when I paint. Very few rules fence me in....and I'm in love with the camera as collaborator.

Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Thanks so much, Lois. I'm so happy you liked this one. Honestly I just loved those two sunny side up eggs at the top....no one noticed and it was unintended.. and they just might be daisies. Yep. They are. I really enjoy painting!

Sorry I didn't immediately signal my smile at this very nice response. All the leaves for the first free pickup had to be curbside tonight so ...guess why I'm exhausted? Thanks, Chanda!
