One of my favorite flowers - the dogwood - beautiful image Nancy

This year's blooms were spectacular. I must have taken thirty photographs!

Love this so much....I've always heard a story that this tree was near the Crucifixion and the red tips represent the blood of Jesus . . . pretty sure these probably don't even grow in that part of the world, but I still thought it a cool thought . . . . lovely image, Nancy!......vf

I heard a similar story and we had a small traditional dogwood in our childhood home....and I remember thinking about this. This tree is about 20 feet tall....and still just radiant with flowers!

Lovely!

This is the first time this dogwood has been active. I've always felt a little sorry for it. I just needed to ...wait.
