Description
After years of painting watercolor magnolias, carefully drawing from life and then in delicate layers bring the shadows and form to life against a white background....in strict botanical illustration form.....now....I did this....in about two minutes! It's just a suggestion of magnolia....but it's a strong one!

What a joy to find that this Magnolia Abstract is a feature in your October theme for The Magic of Flowers. Your group is so distinguished and it is truly an honor to be among such fine artists. Thanks you, Greta!

This is one of my favorites of your florals Nancy, combining realism and abstraction for a dynamic expression.

I hope you read the description I wrote with this one. It was such a revelation to me that I could work quickly and find the shapes and forms ....and be so amazed. I really did spend years doing it the long way.

The three florals would look incredible together! Love the deep contrasts you created for the single white focal Magnolia! What a beauty! FL
