Many thanks, Dorothy. I worked very hard with several teachers to learn portrait work....and did most of them in pencil and ink. And a few watercolors. My dream is to try one in oil.

He could be mischievous. Covering baseball all of those years, and before that basketball. He had a huge career.

He was quite the sportswriter, working for the Milwaukee Sentinel and received many awards. Both of his sons (one my husband, Richard) became writers too.
