This is surely a copy because I was studying Chinese brush painting. That's how we learned....! Even though it wasn't an "original" it was very satisfying to get it just right....or get it sorta just right...that felt good too!

I studied with a master of Chinese brush painting when I lived in Pasadena. I'm certain this was copied because that was his method...a great one.

I think I may have been copying a famous Chinese artist. I did this when I was studying Chinese brush painting.

Of course I was copying ...while learning the technique.

The trees are just starting to bloom here. Glorious spring!!
