Description
One of the beautiful bridges spanning the water features in the park. These streams wind their way past golf courses, museums, boat houses (with paddle boats for rent), pavilions. They look so natural it's a surprise when the waterfalls are turned off for the winter months. Home to herons, geese from Canada, turtles and muskrats...and who knows what else. Home to all of the people of St. Louis who enjoy nature right in the heart of their city.

I was so surprised to learn that the architect is unknown and the date of construction. It's not even listed in a book about Forest Park. I'm going to do research!
