Description
Every now and then I dream of being an architect....an environmental architect....and with these new digital tools it's easy to sketch out ideas...lots of straight edged ideas! Here's one of them. A series of moveable dams on a flood plain. To be used when there's the chance for massive flooding. I notice there are cities in Europe constructing gates to harbors...Venice...and others. And of course there's Holland with the windmills! Why not?

How exciting to find my "Flood Plain" featured in Dancing The Walls!! Many thanks, Yolanda for choosing this one because it's one of my big idea cloning works and I am really proud to have come up with it. I'm new to digital work and I'm teaching myself, so validation is so good for me.

I like those tiny geometries at the very bottom ...looking a bit like a tiny train going over trestles....and notice how I've repeated this "theme" throughout. So fun.

Love the play of light on the terraced hills. Reminds me of Peru. Wonderful work, Nancy! LF

The Irfan program has a Paint program with a cloning tool. One can immediately get to geometry simply by moving the tool. One can make repeats too....you'll see them if you look close. I'm so excited by these designs.....and I have just begun to see what I can create!
