I'm back to view this marvelous musical construction again! It makes me feel elevated, as if I'm swirling upward on a crescendo of melody! LOVE!!!!

How very nice Lynda! I haven't tried one of these for ages, but soon I'd like to. What fun it will be! Thanks so much!

This active and energetic piece reminds me of a crescendo in a powerful symphony! Great work, Nancy! LF!

Oh, Lynda love the bow to music. I often do these geometric pieces when listening to classical music. At one point I thought I'd just title the art with the composition.....!! Scarlatti is a fav for my art!

Such an exciting work of art, Nancy!!!! Your collector has fabulous taste!!!! Congratulations on your sale!!!

What a very nice comment, Lois. I don't know who it is but I'm very flattered by these sales. I do art because I love to...and I also love my artist friends. Now I can love sales, too. And hope the art pleases my customer.

Beautiful work in your galleries, love this abstract, perfect title Feeling Joy. f/l.

So happy you are visiting my art and commenting. This geometric art started in 1973. And only now am I beginning to add color to the background, and even the line...and in this case, gold ink.

I was so happy when I created this. No doubt I had lovely music and sunlight filling the dining room. Art is such a wonderful joy!

Many thanks to both Jim (WHAT ?) and Ramon (Abstract and Surreal) for featuring my joy. I really did feel joy while creating this light show of a construction, this architectural geometric painting. I am so grateful for both of you. I am blessed to have such loyal support for my art!

F/L This reminds me of a Calder mobile:>) Beautiful!

I think about sculptures when I do these....always interested in how it ...balances....itself. What a really nice comment, Carol. Thank you!

Beautiful texture! I love the things I always see in your work. Here I see a tall ship sitting in a harbor with smaller boats and sunlight glistening off the water. LF

The ship has now been christened in my red version of this fun construction! These carriers seem to want to be at sea! Thanks for these lovely comments, Angela!

Goodness, I've had this in many colors and upside down (there is no real way to go) and wow...on it's side too. And now offered in other colors!! Thanks so much, Fei!

About Nancy Kane Chapman

Nancy Kane Chapman

I began my love for art by watching my mother paint in oils and pastels. I must have caught the bug because I have enjoyed fifty years of drawing, painting and photography, urged on and instructed by professors, a botanist, a master of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, water colorists and lately, mixed media devotees. After a course in cubism in 1973 I began to explore pen and ink geometric art. Each stroke was unplanned but exact, the designs becoming more elaborate and more fun to execute. First circles, then onward to straight lines, then organic and architectural constructions. Thirty years later I still dance out on the white space of a simple sheet of paper to weave new drawings. Picasa effects allow me to...
