Nancy, I love this beautiful portrait of Feather, surrounded by such light, warmth and beauty, highlighting her tabby colors. I love the lace tablecloth, the pottery, the window box and tulips! The composition is superb! I wish Feather (and you) many happy spring and summer days! l/f
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Many thanks, Elizabeth. I am always startled by the beauty all around me....every day! I am so blessed.

Way Cool looks like the cat is in its favorite spot
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
We don't eat in the dining room...and I use this table to do art...and she loves to watch me!

She's right next to me sleeping if a chair as I type this reply. She caught her first little mouse yesterday...so it's one mole, one mouse....a nice recovery from her illness.

Just have to revisit this one. The colors are so lovely, life giving, and Feather looks so relaxed that I can even 'hear' her purrrrrr. lf

F/L Feather looks wonderful and very much in charge:>) So nice to see her soaking up the sunshine.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
She is cosy and you're right...still ruling the roost here. She brought us her second mole of the year...so she's still the hunter...too...!!!

What a beautiful moment in the life of your beautiful friend. Great composition and colors. lf
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
She's quite a friend!....She suffered a stroke last year so is slightly compromised....can't really climb or jump up on high furniture. So trees are out!

Such a cosy moment! Your beautiful cat portrait makes me think of all the cats I once lived together with.
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Me too. I have shared so much of my life with good cats. Smoky, Tuffy, Meow Meow, Goody, Coo Coo Michele, Noogie and now Feather. I sometimes think I wouldn't be here had it not been for them. I needed to love.

Beautiful Feather and moment and light! Beautiful shot Nancy! l/f!
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
We don't really eat in the dining room....I do paint at this table and the morning light is perfect for me, my plants....and well, she loves the warm sun.
