I kept adding to the scene....and a partial gathering of items still holds court on the mantle. Hard to say goodbye to Christmas!!!

Thanks so much, Elizabeth. The painting is a watercolor "Carlton Hotel Cannes" by Guy de Neyvac (1900-1950) done in the later 40's. You'll see this hotel in all of the Cannes Film Festival shots! it's on our bucket list.

I've been adding to the tableau as the days go by...sorta like bringing in the Magi to the Nativity scene....like later. Memories are so strong!

F/L This is a wonderful way to think of Christmas -beautiful choice of colors, too. I'm missing so much since I can't be on line much at all - just look at wall the lovely images in your gallery. I'm hoping sometime in January I can be here more.
