We live in St. Louis, Mo now so we've had a great cool wet summer. We did live in LA for twenty years and raised our two children there. Our daughter still lives in LA so I visit often. This drought is alarming!.

Wonderful reflection of the surrounding climatic changes Nancy! This is so compelling with a wonderful abstract feel! FL
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Your beautiful polar bear reminded me of why I'm an artist. I want to produce beauty and bring a bit of happiness into the world. So maybe not so much environmental sadness. Now I'm on vacation for ten whole days!!
Michele Penner
Beautiful colors and textures and a sad testament to all of the wildfires in California today
Nancy Kane Chapman replied:
Yes, and this could be my last "sad" painting of the summer. I'm an upbeat person and my art needs to reflect those wonderful moods and my version of beauty. Thanks, Michele.
